By accessing or using Mastericons ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. What Mastericons provides
Mastericons is a search and browsing interface for open-source SVG icon libraries. We index icons from third-party open-source projects and make them searchable and downloadable in one place. We do not own, create, or hold copyright over any icon artwork. All icons remain the property of their respective authors and are distributed under the license of their source library.
3. Icon licenses
Each icon on Mastericons is governed by the license of its source library - commonly MIT, Apache 2.0, ISC, or CC0. The license is displayed on every icon detail page. It is your responsibility to review and comply with the applicable license before using an icon in your project. Mastericons provides license information as a convenience and does not guarantee its accuracy. Always verify with the upstream source.
4. Permitted use
You may use the Mastericons interface to: - Search and preview icons - Download icons for personal or commercial projects, subject to each icon's license - Copy SVG code or component code for use in your projects You may not: - Scrape or bulk-download the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users - Use automated tools to systematically harvest the icon index without permission - Misrepresent the source or license of any icon
5. User accounts
Creating an account is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Mastericons name, logo, and interface design are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce them without permission. Icon artwork belongs to the respective upstream library authors and is subject to their licenses - not ours.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that icon license information is always current or accurate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mastericons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or any icons downloaded through it.
9. Changes to the service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification or discontinuation.
